In the world of Medicare insurance agents, money follows production.

There are thousands of insurance agents out there who would love some Co-op money from their upline or carrier’s. So, how do uplines and carriers choose who to give money to? They follow production.

“But Mike, I have a ton of potential!” Sure you do, but if you have ZERO sales, you are in a sea filled with other agents who are shouting all about their potential with no production to showcase it.

Plus, right now, with CMS threatening to severly limit co-op money from FMOs, that money is going to be tight if available at all.

My advice to you right now? Start writing business. Yes, this is far easier said than done, but if you cannot do it on your own, how do the uplines or carriers know their money will be used correctly?
